What is BITSAT ?

BITSAT 2017 (Birla Institute of Technology & Science Admission Test) is conducted by the BITS institutions across the country for the admission to various UG and PG degree courses (Integrated first degree programmes) in the field of engineering and technology, Pharmacy and life science with the domain as BE/B.Tech, B.Pharm and M.Sc courses. The examination is the gateway for the admission to courses offered by the Pilani Campus, KK Birla Goa Campus and Hyderabad Campus.

BITS Institutions

Birla Institute of Technology & Science has its own four campuses over the country at Pilani, Hyderabad, Goa and Mesra. The Main Campus is located at Pilani Rajasthan. The main campus was established in the year 1929 and got the status of Deemed University in the year 1964. The university has its own campus in Dubai also. It is one of the prestigious institutions of the country.

BITSAT 2017 Eligibility

For the admission through the BITSAT, the candidates must fulfill the following eligibility criteria:

  • For admission to all programmes except B.Pharm, the candidates must have passed the 12th or its equivalent examination from the recognized central or state board with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and good proficiency in English.
  • For admission to the B.Pharm, the candidates must have passed the 12th or its equivalent examination from the recognized central or state board with Physics, Chemistry and Biology and good proficiency in English.
  • The candidate should have obtained a minimum of aggregate 75% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects (if he/she has taken Mathematics in BITSAT) or a minimum of aggregate 75% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects (if he/she has taken Biology in BITSAT) in 12th examination, with at least 60% marks in each of the Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/ Biology subjects.
  • The candidates appearing the 12th examination in 2016 or the students who have passed the 12thexamination in the year 2015 are eligible to apply.
  • Only Students who are appearing for 12th examination in 2017 or who have passed 12th Examination in 2016 are eligible to appear in the BITSAT-2017 test. If a candidate has taken more than one attempt in 12th class or its equivalent, only his latest performance is considered, provided this attempt has been for the full component of subjects/courses prescribed. Students who have passed 12th examination in 2015 or earlier are NOT eligible to appear in BITSAT-2017. Students who are presently studying in BITS at any of its campuses are not eligible to appear in BITSAT-2017.
  • Direct Admission to Board Toppers:
  • In the past, admission process of the Institute always ensured guaranteed admission to all the students who obtained first ranks in their respective board examinations. This has given a very vital input of highly meritorious students from all over India. First rank students of all the central and state boards in India for the year 2017 will be given direct admission to the program of their choice, irrespective of their BITSAT-2017 score as per the eligibility criteria mentioned above. Further details about this scheme will be available at BITS admission website by 20th May, 2017.

BITSAT 2017 - online application form

The BITS University invites to the all Indian candidates for the admission to the various Integrated First Degree programmes offered by the all BITS campuses across the country. The application form are available online only on the official website of the university from 2nd January 2017.

How to apply

For applying the BITSAT examination the candidates will have to visit the official website of the University for the Online Registration on the prescribed date announced by the university. As the candidates got registered with the portal and application form will be appeared on the screen. Candidates would have to fill the all required details in the application form and submit their fee by the proper mode. The candidates are suggested to keep the hard or soft copy of filled application form for the further reference.

Application fee and Admit Card

Application Fee

Interested candidates should register their names for BITSAT-2017 by applying in the prescribed application form online. Complete the application form online at http://www.bitsadmission.com and pay the prescribed fees. Also take the printout of the filled-in form for your future reference. The prescribed fee for BITSAT-2017 is Rs. 2750/- (two thousand seven hundred fifty) for male candidates and Rs. 2250/- (two thousand two hundred fifty) for female candidates.

If a candidate chooses Dubai as a test center the application fee for both male and female candidates will be same and will be US $60 (or Indian Rs. 4000/-). Details for payment of fees are available at the admission website while applying online.

Deadline to apply for BITSAT-2017 online along with the fee payment is 5.00pm on 6th March 2017 (Monday).

Admit Card for 2017

The candidates are suggested to download their admit card before the commencement of the examination. That will be a mandatory document to sit in the examination. The university will be generated the admit card for the all applying and eligible candidates on its web portal. The admit card contains the application number, date of birth, name of the candidate, photograph and signature. At the time of test the fingerprint and photograph will be taken. Candidates to download the Hall tickets with instructions : 15th April – 10th May 2017

Exam pattern and syllabus

BITSAT 2017 Exam Pattern

The BITSAT 2017 will be a “Computer Based Online Test”. As the pen and paper based examination the candidates will not be bounded to write the paper on the fix time and date. There will be offered a period of time. The candidates may choose their examination centre, date of the examination and time as per their convenience. The examination will be of 3 hours duration and the question paper will be consisted of four parts like Physics, Chemistry, English proficiency and logical reasoning and mathematics or Biology. All questions will be of MCQ (Multiple Choice Questions) and each correct answer will carry 3 marks while each wrong answer will be punished with a 1 mark. There will be 150 total questions from all sections. The examination will be asked in English only. The set of question is like:
Part 1 - 40 questions (Physics), Part 2 - 40 questions (Chemistry), Part 3 - 25 questions (English & Logical Reasoning) and Part 4 - 45 questions (Mathematics/Biology)

BITSAT 2017 Syllabus

The BITSAT 2017 examination will be asked on the basis of the NCERT syllabus of 11th and 12th class. The candidates are instructed to keep their study going on with the NCERT books and contents. A sample paper and syllabus will be made available to all registered candidates on the official website of the university so that they can practice a lot as per their desire.

Selection and application procedure

Selection Procedure

The selection will be made through the merit. The merit will be marked by the BITSAT examination and qualifying examination score. There will be two merit lists. One will be for the candidates applying for the any course except B.Pharm and another one will be for the candidates applying for the B.Pharm course. Last year the campus had given the direct admission to all topper and first ranked students by any board. This year it is not yet announced by the University for any Change.

Application Procedure

The candidates will also have to apply for the admission on the prescribed application form which will be generated on the official website of the board on during the June 2017. The candidates will have to apply for the desired course with the 12th marks and application form fee and submit the application form along with required particulars before the end of June 2017 at the address given below:

VITEEE

What is VITEEE ?

VITEEE 2017 is the VIT Engineering Entrance Examination conducted by the VIT University for the engineering degree courses at its campus. Candidates must meet the eligibility criteria to apply either online or offline for the VITEEE 2017.

Eligibility criteria and selection procedure

Eligibility Criteria of  VITEEE-2017

  • Candidates must have completed 10+2 from a recognized Board or Intermediate or Two-year Pre-University Examination conducted by a recognized Board or High School Certificate Examination of the Cambridge University or International Baccalaureate Diploma or Advanced (A) level General Certificate Education (GCE) examination
  • Candidates must have obtained a minimum of 60% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Maths/ Biology (50% for SC/ST and candidates from Northeast and Jammu Kashmir)
  • Candidates must be born on or after 1 July 1994 to be eligible.

VITEEE 2017 Selection Procedure

Candidates must have qualified in the VITEEE 2017 to be eligible for admissions.

VITEEE 2017 paper pattern

  • The total number of questions will be 125 divided into four sections with 40 questions each(PCM) and 5 question for English. Awarded one mark for each question.
  • The duration of VITEEE 2017 is 2.5 hours.
  • Candidates may note that there is no negative marking for VITEEE 2017.

The VITEEE 2017 Application form is available online as well as offline from 9 November, 2017.
Online: Candidates can apply online, submit the application, take a printout and send the confirmation page to the university.
Offline: Applications are available at select post offices /candidates can write to the Universtiy with an application request letter/candidates can purchase the application at the university counter.

SRMJEEE

What is SRMJEEE?

Earlier known as SRM Engineering Entrance Examination (SRMEEE) has now been alerted to SRM JOINT ENGINEERING ENTRANCE EXAMINATION (SRMJEEE). Only the name of entrance exam has been changed. No other alteration in exam is announded by SRM University, which is the conducting body of exam. SRMJEEE is conducted to grant admission, to aspirants, into offered undergraduate engineering courses. SRMJEEE 2017 will be held from 1 to 30 April (online mode). Candidate will able to register for SRMJEEE 2017 from first week of November 2016. Governing body  SRM University, Kancheepuram

Eligibility criteria

  • He must have passed class XII or equivalent exam as recognized by state or central education board with minimum 60 % aggregate.
  • He must have Physics, Math and Chemistry as subjects in QE.
  • Only Indians who have done class XI, XII from India are eligible.

SRMJEEE 2017 application form

To apply for SRMJEEE 2017, candidates can fill application form till 5 March 2017. But Last date to send filled application form of SRM University is 5 March 2017. There are two modes of filling the Application Form of SRM University 2016, whose description is given below.

Download Mode

  • Download the application form thru the official website of SRM University.
  • Fill the form correctly and send a demand draft of Rs.1000 in favor of “SRMIST”, payable at Chennai.
  • On the backside of the DD, write name, address and mobile number.

Online Mode

  • Register on the official SRM University website by providing all the necessary basic information.
  • Thereafter, use the unique voucher code to complete the form.

EAMCET

What is EAMCET ?

EAMCET (Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Examination) 2017 is a state level examination for those seeking the admission into UG courses conducted by the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Hyderabad on the behalf of the state council of technical education. The rank will be provided on the basis of marks scored by the candidates in EAMCET 2017 examination for admissions. The minimum qualifying marks will be 25% of the total marks for General and OBCs and there is no criterion for minimum qualifying score for SC and ST candidates. The EAMCET examination held every year in the Andhra Pradesh (AP) State. Qualified candidates will be eligible to get the direct admissions into both government and private colleges.

EAMCET 2017 eligibility

The JNTU (Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University) will conduct the EAMCET 2017 examination on the behalf of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Technical Education. The Council has decided the minimum eligibility to appear in EAMCET 2017. Before filling the form, the candidates must have to check their eligibility whether it is meeting with the norms. The minimum eligibility criterion is as the following:

  • The candidates must have completed their 17 years of age on or before 31st December 2017.
  • The candidates must belong to the Andhra Pradesh state.
  • The candidates must be of Indian Nationality, Overseas Citizen of India – OCI (card holder) or person of India Origin (POI).
  • The candidates must have passed the Intermediate examination or its equivalent from a recognized board with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry or Biology or Biotechnology with minimum 45% marks for General or 40% marks for the reserved categories to meet the eligibility of EAMCET 2017.
  • The candidates those appearing in the 10+2 or its equivalent examinations, will also eligible to appear in EAMCET 2017. They should have to show their passing certificate at the time of admission.

Application form

The EAMCET 2017 Application From will be available online on the official website of JNTU on the month of February 2017. The aspirants may fill the form only via online mode. No other mode of application will be acceptable except online. First, the aspirants shall have to register for application form then they will be eligible to fill the form via online mode. The aspirants must have to feed the required details in the application form. After the completion of application form filling process, one need to go for submission of the application form fee also via online through debit card/ credit card/ Mee Seva online centre/ AP online centre. The application fee is Rs. 250/- for engineering applications and Rs. 250/- for agriculture and medical applications. The aspirants wish to appear in all examinations, must have to pay application fees as Rs. 500/- for engineering, agriculture and medical examinations. The candidates may pay the application fees by sending a DD along with the filled application form to the address given as mentioned below. Examination pattern and syllabus

 Examination Pattern

The EAMCET 2017 examination will be held on the 10th May 2017 in two shifts as 10:00 am to 1:00 pm and 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. the exam will be comprised in two papers, as one for engineering aspirants and other for agriculture and medical aspirants. Both papers will be asked separately in 160 objective type questions of 3 hours duration. There is no clause for negative marking. Each correct answer will be rewarded with one mark. The examinations will be asked in two languages as English and Telugu. Only at the Hyderabad centre, there will be liberty to choose the Urdu language in EAMCET 2017. In Each question paper there will be 40 questions based on Physics, 40 questions based on Chemistry and 80 questions based on Mathematics subject. All candidates are advised to carry the EAMCET 2015 admit Card  along with them.

EAMCET 2017 Syllabus

EAMCET syllabus will include in three major subjects as Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The candidates should have a thorough knowledge in order to crack the EAMCET 2017.

Physics syllabus

The topics from Physics, which can be asked in EAMCET 2017 examinations, will be as physics world, units and measurements, elements of vectors, dynamics and kinematics, centre of mass, frictions and collisions, elasticity, gravitation and fluid mechanics.

Chemistry syllabus

The chemistry will cover the topics as atomic structure, classification of elements, chemical bonding, molecular structure, states of matters, periodicity in properties, solutions and electrochemistry.

Mathematics syllabus

The main topics which will include in mathematics syllabus will be as numbers, trigonometry, algebra, probability, vector algebra, calculus, and co-ordinate geometry.

Counselling

The candidates those will qualify the EAMCET 2017 will avail the counselling process conducted by the JNTU, Hyderabad. The EAMCET Counselling process will be done in two phases as documents verification and counselling round. The document verification will play an important role which may lead the disqualification on the basis of incomplete or unsatisfactory documents. In the counselling round, the candidates may choose their college priority in descending order. The admission will be provided on the basis of rank, priority and seats available in the desired college. The candidates should be available or reached in time at the prescribed centre for EAMCET 2017 counselling along with the required documents. KIITEE

What is KIITEE ?

The Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology Entrance Examination 2017 (KIITEE 2017) will be conducted from April 14 to April 23, 2017, as mentioned on the university’s website. The examination will be conducted online across 120 centers in India.KIITEE University, Bhubaneswar has has announced the exam dates for KIITEE entrance Exam (KIITEE),which will be conducted in April and May 2016. The KIITEE is held for taking admission to various undergraduate and postgraduate program offered in various disciplinesfor the commencing session 2017.

Applicants should have passed Class 12 with 60 per cent marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Applicants should have regular mode for various UG courses.

  2. Select “Online Application”/ “Download” option (if you want to downoad, take the print out of download Application Form
  • Go through the Instrutions to fill up the form
  1. Fill up Online Application Form and submit
  2. Take the print out of Registration Form mentioning the Application Number
  3. Paste the Photographs in the space provided for it
  • Sign on ‘Signature’ columns both by candidates and parent/guardian
  • Dispatch the Form along with two passport size photographs pasted in appropriate place ad 10th pass certificate / mark sheet

The print out of KIITEE 2017 online registration form or filled in downloaded application form should be submitted in person/by post (Registered Post/Speed Post/Courier) so as to reach on or  before 31rd March 2017, to the following address “The Director, Admissions, KIIT University, Koel Campus, Bhubaneswar-751024″, Odisha, India .

Paper pattern for KIITEE Exam 2017

  • In each of these sections, every question is followed by 4 answer options. Choose the option that is most appropriate. Indicate your answer by clicking on the circle adjacent to the option you think is right.
  • You can go to any question directly by clicking on the question number, which will appear at the bottom of the screen. The answered question number will be marked green and the unanswered/skipped question number will remain in blue.
  • If you are doubtful of the answer, you can mark a question for review using the ‘Mark for review button’. This will be unmarked once you come back to the same question at a later time and change the answer.
  • If you want to change the answer of any question, you may select the question and change the answer by clicking on the appropriate answer.
  • Each correct answer fetches 4 marks.
  • There is negative marking. 1 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.
  • If you have completed answering all the questions in the sequence of a particular section, you will be automatically directed to the first question of the next section.
  • You can move between sections at your will.
  • The test closes automatically once the allotted time of 180 minutes are over.
  • In case you finish your test before allotted time, you will get a confirmation page which will give you two options. Either to go back to the test or to complete the test.
  • In case you want to review the answers in the remaining time you can do so, else you may complete the test and submit. Ensure that you click on submit as a sign of completion.

Admit card

The Admit Cards will be hosted in the website from dt.01.04.2017 to dt.05.04.2017. In case, the Admit Card is not available in the website within 6th April, 2017, candidates should write/contact KIIT between 7th April, 2017 to 10th April, 2017 giving details of the Post Office, date of dispatch, receipt of postal dispatch, Photocopy of the Application Form, one  photograph, photocopy of 10th Pass Certificate / Mark sheet. The candidates have to download the admit  card from the website and have to come with the printed copy to the examination Centre. Admit Cards will not be dispatched in Hard Copy. NATA

What is NATA ?

NATA 2016 (National Aptitude Test in Architecture) will be a national level aptitude test to measure the ability of candidates for specific Architecture field of study. The examination is conducted by the COA (Council of Architecture). The examination is being conducted every year during the March to May month via online only. A huge amount of candidates appears the examination to show their caliber in observation skills and drawing, sense of proportion, and critical and sensitive thinking ability.

  • The eligibility standard has been projected by the COA for the admission to that examination. Accordingly the eligibility criteria are as the following:
  • The candidates must be passed the 10th/High School/Matriculation examination to appear the NATA.
  • The candidate will not be permitted to get the direct admission to second year at any qualification.
  • A NATA score card will be valid for two succeeding years only including the year of examination.
  • The candidate having 50% marks in 10+2 with mathematics as one of the compulsory subjects and having a valid score card on Architecture aptitude test shall be eligible for admission to B.Arch course.

NATA 2016 registration & application

The NATA 2016 registration cum appointment form would be filled via online from the 1st March 2016 at the official website by making a payment of application fee of Rs. 1000/- only (including processing fees) through debit card/ credit card/ net banking or through the Challan to any branches of ICICI Bank. Once the appointment scheduled cannot be rescheduled or cancelled and no refund of fees under any conditions. Registration will be done on the first-come first-serve basis.

 How to get register and appointment

Visit the official web portal of NATA and generate and user name and password by clicking on the registration link and activate your account according to the SMS which will be sent to you after creating the new user. Fill all required details in the registration form and upload the signature and photograph in JPG format. At last save the page and click on the “Purchase Form” Button.

Be noted that once you click on that button you can never change the information again.

Now the candidates should remit the application fee through the appropriate mode. After the payment you can download and print the form. After that the candidates shall approach the nearest activated centres prescribed at the site with a printout of the registration form and the centre will provide an appointment voucher for examination based on the availability and schedule at the centre. You will have to bring that voucher to the examination centre at the date of examination.

NATA 2016 examination

The examination shall be conducted in two phases. The phase 1 will start from the third week of the March 2015 to last week of the May 2015 and the phase 2 will start from the first week of June 2015 to last week of August 2015. During this period the examination can be given any day except national holidays at the designated centres.

Examination pattern

The examination will consist of two parts; one will be for the paper based (drawing) and the second will be for the computer based test. The paper 1 will be of two hours and candidates have to attempt three questions. In paper 2 the candidates will have to attempt 40 questions. There is no negative marking in the examination. The time will be allotted to each question and in case of not answered the question will be skipped automatically. The total marks will be 200 and around 40% marks should be obtained is compulsory for the admission.

Score card

After giving the examination, the score card or the NATA exam result of will be generated within the four working days to the portal. Students may get their score card by login their account at the NATA student portal. After 7 days of examination the score card cannot be printed. Only soft copy preserved by the NATA server will be considered for the further reference. The candidate may get the print out for their personal note only. The score card will be valid for two years only including the year of examination.

What is NDA ?

National Defense Academy (NDA) is one of the most popular entrance exams among the students after class 12th , the student who are looking to make their career in the Indian defence forces NDA is one of the best opportunity for them. NDA is an entrance exam conducted for the selection of officer posts in the Indian Army, Indian Air force and Indian Navy. NDA 2017 eligibility criteria

Nationality :
The candidates must be (i) a citizen of India , or  (ii) a subject of Bhutan, or  (iii) a subject of Nepal, or (iv) a Tibetan refugee who came to India before the 01 January, 1963 with the intention of permanently settling in India.

 Age (For NDA I 2017) :

The candidate must be physically fit, and must fulfill the physical standards norms set up by National Defence Academy and National Naval Academy.

NDA selection process

NDA exam is one of the highly competitive examinations in the country. Every year thousands of students appear for the NDA exam to become a commissioned officer in the Indian defence forces. The candidate’s selection process comprises of two phases: (1) Written Test      (2) SSB Interview

The written test is the first phase of the NDA exam, comprising of multiple choice questions from Mathematics, General knowledge and current affairs, English, quantitative aptitude and reasoning etc. The candidates who qualify the written examination are called for the SSB interview which is the 5 day process and candidates are eliminated every round of SSB, after successfully qualifying the SSB the final merit list is prepared and candidates are selected as per their preferences.

What is UPESEAT ?

University of Petroleum and Energy Studies, Engineering aptitude Test commonly referred as UPESEAT is an engineering aptitude test conducted by University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES), for admission to various undergraduate engineering programmes. The UPESEAT exam 2016 will held on 15th May, 2016. Below we have given complete details regarding UPES exam, eligibility criteria, admission procedure, counselling details etc.

About the exam

UPESEAT 2016 is conducted every year by University of Petroleum and Energy Studies located in Dehradun (Uttarakhand). The exam is conducted for admission to various UG engineering courses, and some specialized energy and petroleum programmes offered by the university. Last year around 29,000 students had appeared for admission to 1600 engineering seats in UPES. The UPESEAT exam 2016 will be conducted in all major cities of the country, the university has already invited application form for the UPESEAT 2016.

Eligibility criteria

The candidates are informed to go through the eligibility criteria before applying for UPES exam 2016. Below we have mentioned complete eligibility criteria of UPES exam.

Age Limit

The candidates must be born on or after October 01, 1994.

Eligibility for admission through UPESEAT 2016 (80% seats)

  • The candidates must have passed in 10+2 with 60% marks from a recognized board.
  • Candidates must have scored an aggregate of at least 60% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
  • The candidates appearing in 2015 can also apply for the exam.

Eligibility for admission through board merit/JEE (20% seats)

  1. Admission by Board Merit
    Candidates should have passed 10+2 from a recognized board with 80% marks. Candidates must have scored an aggregate of at least 80% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
  1. Admission by JEE 2016
    The candidates should have passed in 10+2 with 60% marks from a recognized board. Candidates should have scored an aggregate of at least 60% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Candidates must have scored good rank in the JEE Main 2016.

UPESEAT exam pattern

How to apply?

The candidates interested in UPESEAT 2016, can apply by either by online or offline modes.

Online : For applying online candidate have to fill the online application form from the UPES website and pay the fees either through net banking or credit/debit card.

Offline : The candidates can also apply offline by purchasing prospectus and application form available at designated admission centres in Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, Cochin, Coimbatore, Delhi, Dehradun, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai.

UPESEAT application fees

The candidates can pay application fees either online, cash or in DD drawn in favour of “UPES Fee Account”, payable at New Delhi / Dehradun along with a request letter. The candidates have to pay 1750 in cash or offline and 1850 for online or through DD.

UPESEAT result and counselling

After the UPESEAT exam 2016, the result is expected to be declared in the month of June, 2015 (tentative). On the basis of rank in UPESEAST, board percentage and JEE Main score candidates will be called for counseling. The counseling will be conducted separately for 80% seats through UPESEAT exam and the rest through board percentage and JEE Main score.
